Emily Dickinson Rides the N Train (Poetry in Motion Strikes Again)

Back on February 23, I spotted two new Poetry in Motion posters (here and here) on two separate buses. I've been keeping an eye out, because they generally get released in threes. The third one finally revealed itself to me on the N train between Union Square and 34th Street at 1 p.m. today.

It's a classic from Emily Dickinson:

Tell all the Truth but tell it slant--
Success in Circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm Delight
The Truth's superb surprise

As Lightning to the Children eased
With explanation kind
The Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind --

--Emily Dickinson
