Labor Day Doldrums
So I've decided that vacation from work (now that it's over) means a respite for BillyBlog. Here are some odds and ends.
Yesterday, the girls and I went to the American Museum of Natural History. I could tell you what we did, but you'd just be jealous.
I finally completed a story I was reading in The New Yorker from a May 1 issue. The story, "An Afternoon" by William Trevor, can be found here.
I also picked up a copy of a new translation of the collected poems of Constantine Cavafy. More on that later.
Back to school shopping and a happy belated birthday to BillyBlog reader Benjie.
