BillyBlog's Favorite Poems, #26 ("Separation," by W.S. Merwin)
Ok, I'm cheating. It's my party and I can lie if I want to. This is a favorite poem but I'm just stealing it from last year's Poetry in Motion post:
The poet is W.S. Merwin. He signed this after a reading at the 92nd Street Y. The poem is "Separation":
Separation
Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.
