Back Issues
Finally getting around to some back issues of The New Yorker. The one I picked up today from December 12, '05, has a story in it by, you guessed it, T.C. Boyle. Haven't read it yet, but I'll let you know. Or, if you want to beat me to the punch, you can read it online here. The previous week's issue featured a story by Canadian author, Alice Munro. I did read that one and enjoyed it. Interested, check it here.
A co-worker brought me a clipping today from a local paper, a photo of scandalized author James Frey, with the caption "James Frey, your future human resources representative?". Nice plug for the H.R. profession.
