Are you waiting to hear our remarks? I'm not sure I can really even comment besides saying how incrediblly sad...we are supposed to be the sophicated and loving country, right? Whatever... I guess several folks didn't get the memo. I have more inside me to say but... it would not translate well here.

Sometimes simple says it all. The president's quote, plastered in the headlines on this election day, reminds us why the vote is so vital to our country. It's like Clinton saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky." It's insulting, but the degree of insult increases exponentially when people die. I didn't want to make a blanket statement of opinion as I have tried to avoid politics here on BillyBlog. However, the words conflict with the images and I couldn't ignore it. It was much more compelling than the story of the two Carolina Panthers cheerleaders who were arrested in Tampa after one of them struck a bar patron in the face because the patron objected to the two women having sex in a bathroom stall. Ah, America!
